Can i become a youtube partner and monetise my videos, if i have Bulgarian email but i live in UK?

February 9th, 2013 1 comment

i’m from Bulgaria but i’m moving to England. So if i have bulgarian email adress and youtube account made in Bulgaria does that make it impossible to use google Adsense and monetisation?

I don’t think google will allow to change country or enable youtube adsense on bulgarian account if you are moving to UK. And if you are moving to another country, why not use new account only for youtube adsense and use UK as address? I know its not allowed in thier terms to create more than one account. Try asking on official group/forum of adsense.

How do I get paid on Youtube? How does Adsense work? Please help.?

January 2nd, 2013 2 comments

I have been approved for monetization on Youtube but can’t seem to get everything working with Adsense part, to actually get paid. The following is the email I received:

Hello,
Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after
reviewing your application, we’re unable to accept you into AdSense at
this time.
We did not approve your application for the reasons listed below.

Issues:
– Unacceptable site content

After reading through all the policy for "prohibited content" I went ahead and removed all video tags, possibly "misleading titles", and made videos private that might have had copyright notices or violent material in them. I even made all my playlists private so they wouldn’t show up on my channel since that material isn’t technically mine. I resubmitted my Adsense application each time I made a substantial change and each time I’ve received a rejection. I will attach the link to my channel. Let me know if you have any advice, tips to getting approved or if you know why I might be getting rejected.

PS- Is it possible that Google Adsense can see my private videos and reject me because of that content? Or perhaps because my youtube name is COLOMBIAN222 which refers to a race/ethnicity?

Yes, it is possible. Making it private just makes it so other users can’t see it. Now, since Google owns YouTube, they can access everything on everyone’s channel. Nothing you post is ever private.

How to create an adsense account for youtube monetization?

January 2nd, 2013 3 comments

I submitted my adsense application the other day and it was not approved because of: "Site does not comply with Google policies"
What do I do?This is for youtube monetization. My videos are already monetized, but I dont have an adsense account. The site the google email was talking about was my Youtube channel.

You can add Adsense on Youtube channel only if you already have an Adsense account with a website, and Youtube channel is not a website.

You cannot open an Adsense account to be used only on Youtube unfortunately, and if you only have a Youtube channel you can monetise it with Youtube (as you’ve done) and nothing else.

Tip: Open a little blog first, and apply to Google Adsense using that blog but remember, it has to be on a paid Server and not one of those free hosted blogs…

How do i become a famous blogger/vlogger?

I have a youtube account with no videos yet. Idk how to get started. I have a website but I didnt pay for it yet. Is my website worthy for paying 2.99 a month? I dont know how to start with Google Adsense but….Can you guys give me some tips? thnx
website: thesebrightcitylights.weebly.com

Write a lot of good content.
I would say, if you have around 200 unique page views a day on your blog, submit your website for Google Adsense. If you have an adsense account, you can link it to your youtube account and get also paid making videos.
Your website is looking good btw 🙂
Keep up the good work.

How does the Google Adsense Program really work?

December 16th, 2012 2 comments

I’ve had 3 youtube accounts that were rejected by google adsense. Even though I’ve read some of the guidelines & tried to follow them to the best of my ability I still got rejected. Can watching your own video even once when signed in while ads are running be a bad thing? I understand that you can monetize your videos on youtube but then why would you create a google adsense account? Does that itself generate the money you’d make from monetizing your videos on youtube? this is my youtube channel youtube.com/innov8tivecinemaz all I want to know from fellow youtubers out there like myself is would this content be approved by google adsense? & if not how should I handle the situation. Only people who’ve had experience with google adsense please answer the question. Thanks.

Google AdSense is a free, simple way for website publishers of all sizes to earn money by displaying targeted Google ads on their websites. AdSense also lets you provide Google search to your site users, while earning money by displaying Google ads on the search results pages.

It works in 3 steps :-

1. Choose the type and placement of ad units to be displayed:

> Specify where you want ads to appear
> Choose what types of ads can compete for those slots

2. Highest-paying ads display

> Advertisers bid on your inventory in a real-time auction
> Always show the highest-paying ad

3. Get paid

> Google bills advertisers and ad networks
> Get paid through our reliable payment options

Important notes –

1. It is mandatory to have own website. If you can’t effort website hosting charges then go for free blogs. Blogger, wordpress are good.
2. Content is important. Create website for subject in which you are good. Creat website which use friendly.
3. Most important to get traffic is offcourse search engine so SEO is important.
4. You have to build up a website which you will then place the Ads that AdSense provides with you. To build up traffic you could do a lot of things including the following:

-Get your site indexed into Google search
-Advertise on forums or other websites

And about your problem, Youtube’s policies do not permit multiple accounts, they’re unable to accept your new application.

Can you go to jail if you’re asking people to click on your ads on google adsense?

December 16th, 2012 6 comments

Say you ask someone (not forcefully) to click on your ads, and google adsense finds out and sends you a cheque or whatever, can you go to jail for it? thanks!
But it’s one of the terms of signing up to google adsense and then google adsense sends you a cheque but you’ve been asking people to click your ads which go against the terms, doesn’t that result in going to prison or whatever? like what consequences are there? and what if you’re under 18?

Unless you are going to click away on your own computer they can’t prove anything, it’s outside your control and if they took you to court they could easily lose and have all the bad publicity to go with it. You are too small a fish for them to fry in a big way. My own account got disabled by them, I had a moderatlety successful blog and youtube and had some success with ads later too, so they thought/decided I was cheating the system as they have done to many people, some I know. One friend was disabled and accused of cheating when he had only had an account a couple of days and earned less than a single dollar! They seem to rely on a computer not people, so much for the ‘meticulous inspection’ that caused it.
They say that all revenue waiting to be paid from your account will be returned to the advertisers affected….but hey, this could have taken months to build up and that will be the case for tens (hundreds? ) of thousands of people…they will have earned a lot of interest while it was sat there and no doubt have kept it. Also, many advertizers will have gone out of business or at least not have an account anymore. Google appear to be using small people as dispensable pawns to show how ‘thorough’ google is to big time advertisers and publishers..
They are a dirty business, treat them like one, and earn a buck of them while you can!

How to add another youtube channel into the same adsense account?

December 16th, 2012 1 comment

I have two youtube channels, one has an adsense account associate with it. How I can add the other channel to the same adsense account?
Thanks

As far as i know, you need to apply for the youtube partner program separately for this other account. Once it gets approved, they will give you an option to connect it with the same adsense account.

One important point that i remember: when i was filling the partner program application on receving the invitation from youtube, it had the option of specifying any other youtube channels that we wanted to club.
That option is not visible after we have been accepted in one account (one youtube channel).

Do I own the copyrights to my own home videos?

December 8th, 2012 6 comments

YouTube keeps disabling monetization (Google Adsense) on my account, claiming that I cannot prove I own the copyrights to home videos I filmed with my own camera.

There is NO copyrighted music, pictures or film clips in them. Just me and my family.

Why? Could it be religious or racial persecution?

First of all you need to know that Copyright is different from trademarks, designs and patents. You do not need to register a copyright. Copyright is automatically generated when an author creates a work. By filming you automatically create a copyrighted article of work – the video.

As far as You-tube goes – by posting your work to YouTube you are subjecting it to YouTube’s terms of dealing with your Copyright. YouTube Clause 6C (see below and the link) clearly says you continue to own your content – it IS yours – the advice you have received to the contrary is wrong.
You tube gets a royalty free right to use your content.

The problem is you may have violated Clause 4D of the YouTube Standard Terms of Service (again see below). Basically it is a breach of contract for you to try to extract payment from anyone for virewing your content on YouTube without the permission of YouTube. Although why they would do this is unknown if you have filled out all of the right boxes and applied through their channels.

Other things to look out for – music in the background, a TV on in the background, pictures of art on your walls. All of these things are other people’s copyrighted works. You need the rights for those as well. You need waivers and releases from anyone besides you in the videos.

Anyway check the details of what is going on and follow up re getting permission to charge for viewing access to your account.

CLAUSE 4D

You agree not to use the Service for any of the following commercial uses unless you obtain YouTube’s prior written approval:
the sale of access to the Service;
the sale of advertising, sponsorships, or promotions placed on or within the Service or Content; or
the sale of advertising, sponsorships, or promotions on any page of an ad-enabled blog or website containing Content delivered via the Service, unless other material not obtained from YouTube appears on the same page and is of sufficient value to be the basis for such sales.

CLAUSE 6C:

For clarity, you retain all of your ownership rights in your Content. However, by submitting Content to YouTube, you hereby grant YouTube a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicenseable and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, publish, adapt, make available online or electronically transmit, and perform the Content in connection with the Service and YouTube’s (and its successors’ and affiliates’) business, including without limitation for promoting and redistributing part or all of the Service (and derivative works thereof) in any media formats and through any media channels. You also hereby grant each user of the Service a non-exclusive license to access your Content through the Service, and to use, reproduce, distribute, display, publish, make available online or electronically transmit, and perform such Content as permitted through the functionality of the Service and under these Terms of Service. The above licenses granted by you in video Content you submit to the Service terminate within a commercially reasonable time after you remove or delete your videos from the Service. You understand and agree, however, that YouTube may retain, but not display, distribute, or perform, server copies of your videos that have been removed or deleted. The above licenses granted by you in user comments you submit are perpetual and irrevocable.

How do I get paid with Google Adsense?

December 8th, 2012 1 comment

Ya, so I got an offer off of youtube that says I can use Google Adsense and they didn’t really ask for any information other than contact info, the name and whether it was an individual or business account. I know for a fact that it’s legitimate, because the entire process was on my youtube account and the email was from youtube and there was all this legal stuff. But I’m not sure exactly how the payment process will work. Any advice or explanations?

First of all, congratulations on having been selected for the revenue sharing program.

My account is enabled for revenue sharing – what now? : http://www.google.com/support/youtube/bin/static.py?page=guide.cs&guide=1322133&answer=1322150
