I recently signed up for google adsense and my page impressions are 91… cpm0.03? what does this mean? Is this good? …………. where can I get more information on how to get more traffic to my site? how can I succedd with google adsense?
ok so my question is is 91 page impressions good so far fo rmine?

Page impressions is the number of times a page is displayed where you have placed a google ad. For example, you have a page where you placed 1 (one) google ad, and the page was viewed 10 times. That means that your ad had 10 page impressions.

Can you make realistic income from running internet add?

January 8th, 2013 2 comments

I heard a lot of people making livingby selling stuff in eBay. This is not new news. But what is new to me is I heard some making money by having a website and putting internet add such as Google Adsense or yahoo publisher.

I question would be is it realistically possible to make some from online adds? If yes, how much traffic you need to have to make a descent earning like $30-$50 a day?

Thank you

Yes, it’s certainly possible. First and foremost, you’ll need traffic to your website. You’ll also need to research what keywords are most likely to pay the most per click so that you can maximize the value of each visitor to your site.

There’s a lot of information freely available online. Forums related to internet marketing are a good place to start reading and learning. Webmasterworld has a sections dedicated to Google AdSense and Yahoo Publisher Network. You can learn a lot just by reading about what other people are doing to be successful.

Which of these has the most potential of earning money?

January 6th, 2013 3 comments

1. Helium
2. Ciao’s Premium
3. DooYoo
4. Epinions
5. Google Adsense.

Have you had any experience with any of the above and what degree of success was achieved? Which would you recommend and why?

Are there any others out there worth mentioning, why and which?

I’m just looking for an opportunity to making a little extra money to help with the rising cost of living.

Thanks in advanvce.

Well there are lots of scams there and I did try out many "paid programs" and ended up getting scammed. I got so angry that I left looking for any more opportunities. Then I came across people saying that they are getting paid for online programs and once again I started researching and I am happy to say that I have earned $15.09 from http://www.mylot.com/?ref=vampirestonez. It is a legit site and I can guarantee it because I have gotten paid from that and if you wish you can ask me for more details. It is very easy to use as it, it is a forum like Yahoo Answers but unlike Yahoo Answers you get paid for asking and answering questions! Yes, it may sound too good to be true but I can only say that try it, you have nothing to lose and I am sure you will thank me for this.

But if you do register at that site then you will also need to have an E-gold account because all your payments will be transferred there and then there are number of option to get the payments like check, money order, bank wire, western union etc. To register for E-gold please visit http://www.e-gold.com/e-gold.asp?cid=3956994.

I had been using Yahoo Answers for a long time as you can see my level but I now use it very rarely because as you may know that the more traffic to a site, the more the site earns. Yahoo Answers earns a lot but does not share anything with it’s users as for myLot, they do! If you have any questions just leave me a message here or on myLot and I will personally try my level best to guide you to the way to getting some decent income. Thanks!

How popular does my blog have to be to make any money off Google adsense.?

Im trying to make some money and I was thinking of making a blog and using Google adsense to make some… how popular does it have to be to make any money? Or If you have any better ways please tell me.

it does solely depend on how popular your blog
the important things is good content, big number of visitors and good niche ( i mean you use high paying keyword to earn more money)

you need to work hard to gain more traffic
otherwise if you have money, use ppc

Those who have blogs that have alot of traffic how did you get so much traffic to reach your blog?

And not only pageviews but how do you get more clicks on your ads on your blog? Because getting clicks seems to be the factor that makes money on google adsense.

I’ve been trying to figure that out for years… I’ve come to the conclusion that the type of traffic that actually clicks on Ads is the same type of traffic that comes from google and is looking for something that you can’t provide them with. Generally, if the ads are visible and they have a better alternative to the article they found, a visitor will decide to check out the advertisers website. If you want to make some serious money with Google Adsense you are going to need to learn about search engine optimization so you can position your website and your articles at the top of the rankings. If you can get the top listing for a highly searched term you will be able to make alot of money… So much money in fact that you may even be able to quit your day job. If you want to learn more about search engine optimization and what you should be doing to make money with Google Adsense. Check out the article I wrote below.. It should get you started… Man I gotta be one of the finalists for top answer right?? lol

has anybody made good money off of google adsense or anything like it?

i am trying to do the google adsense, but i need a web page first right? where can i go to do this? i have never made a web page before and i started to make one but i screwed the name up on the website and it won’t let me change it or make a new one. any suggestions on where to go or what to do?

Some sites earn 5 or even 6 digits a month with Adsense, but many more publishers can’t even earn $100 a month

You first need to have a website. The easiest is Blogger.com http://www.blogger.com because it is free and owned by Google. Hence, they made it very easy to use Adsense on the site

Your income will depend on:

– the topic of your site (if you have high paying keywords you stand to earn more)
– responsiveness of users to ad (are visitors coming to your site with blinders in their eye or do they look at the ads as additional complementary resource)
– traffic (you earn more with more traffic, even if you have low paying keywords or other metrics)
– how you implement the ads on your site (some positions and colors work better than others)

I suggest you join the program (you’ve got nothing to lose as it is free) and see how your site will do with it. I’ve been with Adsense since June 2003 and it’s been a GREAT income generating program for us. So for me, Adsense is definitely worth it

What is the best way to add CPM ads to my website?

December 23rd, 2012 4 comments

I am going to open a website in about a week and would like to put some CPM ads on it. Is google adsense the best? If not then where can I go to get the ads that pay the best.
Thank you.

Adsense is primarily a CPC — where you earn everytime someone clicks on the ads. Very little CPM ads, unless your site is targeted specifically by the advertiser for placement targeting.

The BEST CPM ads — if you’re looking for CPM ads — is Federated Media http://www.federatedmedia.net. But they only work with the high traffic blogs. Yours will not qualify.

Otherwise, try the bottomfeeder CPM networks such as

Burstmedia http://www.burstmedia.com
ValueClick http://www.valueclick.com
Advertising.com http://www.advertising.com

Other alternatives you can explore include

Kontera (if you don’t mind in text advertising) http://www.kontera.com
Chitika http://www.chitika.com

Adsense is good, but it is not easy. Plus you have to strictly follow their guidelines. It is always best not to put all your eggs in one basket

Does anyone know how much each click is worth on Google AdSense?

December 21st, 2012 1 comment

I added Google AdSense to my blog, and I was wondering if anyone knows how much each click on an ad is worth?

My blog has lousy traffic, so nobody’s clicked on any yet 😛

Clearly it won’t rake in much income lol, but I’m still curious.

I am eng between 0.36 and 15 USD per click.

How do I earn money on my website with advertising?

December 18th, 2012 6 comments

I run a website which gets several million hits per month. It was recently feautured on 60 minuts, and is often in the media, so we have a high volume of visitors. I currently use google adsense, which picks what ads show up, and most often, thery’re no very related to what people would visit the site for. That being siad, google is only earning me about $10 a day, when I’m told I could be making hundreds or even thousands give the amount of trafic. How to I go about putting ads on my site that I choose, and maximize how much money I can get?
For your information, I run www.donorsiblingregistry.com, which was just this past weekend featured on 60 minutes (15.23 million viewers). I am an expert at the material of the webstie, but am far from an expert at the techincal aspect of the site, thats why I’m asking for advice from someone who really knows ads.

I took a look at your website and I can understand why Google Adsense is not working for you. The types of visitors you attract is not in the mood to buy anything, they are not using your site as a mere jump-off point — your site is THE destination. Hence, the visitors are not interested in clicking on your ads. Sites like yours do poorly with Adsense. You may want to read the article "Contextual Advertising: Why Are You Earning Only Pennies?" http://www.powerhomebiz.com/022006/adsense.htm which I think perfectly captures your predicament.

A CPM campaign would work better for you given the type of website you have and the traffic you get. I suggest you read the article "How to Generate Advertising Revenues for Your Web Site" http://www.powerhomebiz.com/vol28/adrevenues.htm – you can join banner ad networks and select the campaigns offered for CPM (though some does not allow you to select the campaigns). Here are some of the banner ad networks:

BurstMedia http://www.burstmedia.com
Fastclick http://www.fastclick.com
Tribal Fusion http://www.tribalfusion.com
Advertising.com http://www.advertising.com
