I dont quite understand how adsense works. Basically i just put adsense on my blog today and I checked today my stats this evening and found I made a $1.50 and i had 330 page views and zero clicks. How did I make that much? Its an estimate btw.

Advertisers can choose to either pay for clicks PPC or by impressions CPM (1000 impressions have a similar price to 1 click) I believe adsense passes on your earning cut in either case, so perhaps that $1.50 is for impressions.

You will see odd stats, sometimes clicks vanish, perhaps after beings suspected of being faked. With luck it looks like you may be paid in 2 or 3 months at that rate.

it does solely depend on how popular your blog
the important things is good content, big number of visitors and good niche ( i mean you use high paying keyword to earn more money)

Two options:

1) Linkbucks. You use it like a URL shortener; enter an interesting link and you get a shorter one. But before the visitor gets redirected to that page, they see an ad, and you get paid per number of ads seen (no need for the visitors to click the ad, they just need to see it). Intermission ads are the best; they display for 15 seconds (skippable via click) and then the landing page is loaded. 2) If you upload files, such as photo galleries, music or whatever to your website, host them on Fileserve. They pay for every download, depending on fileside and geographical location. I personally use them both. Creating an account was painless, and I didn’t have to fill any complicated paperwork (unlike Adsense). Payments were sent directly to PayPal with very low minimums ($5 for Linkbucks, $20 for Fileserve). Give them a try for a week, you won’t be disappointed.

At the moment google allows only Pay Per Click (PPC) there’s no option for you to switch to Pay Per View (PPV) system. As you know Google pays for Clicks. So it all comes down to the amount of traffic you get and converting those traffic to clicks. Which is not easy but it do-able.

A good alternative is Adbrite, which is a good PPC company for advertisers and publishers.

If you want to get paid for CPA, so per action, you can also engage in a company like MaxBounty which allows you to choose a banner from an offer that pays for some action or lead.

Of course it also depends on whether you want text ads or banners. If you can place banners it’s also a good idea to search for a relevant banner from an affiliate offer that you can find at Clickbank and try to make the most money that way.
