February 23rd, 2013 1 comment

I’ve had a Google Adsense Account for a while and in the middle of January I finally put my tax information to get the money, so it said February is your next payment. But while I was waiting this week I checked it and now it says it will give it to me in March. Does anybody know how to get it faster? It dosn’t say the payments are on hold and I have over $100.

Sorry the simple answer is ther is no quicker way. I know this isn’t what you wanted to hear.

How to make account of YAHOO Adsense & how to start work with YAHOO Adsense, pls tell me all procedure & link. I shall really thankful to all of you..

First off, Adsense is a product of GOOGLE — and not Yahoo. Yahoo used to have its own contextual advertising network called Yahoo Publishers Network, but it closed a few years ago because it failed to attract enough advertisers, poor implementation and just no way to catch up to google

The Adsense website has a lot of information on how the program works and how you can earn money from it. Important pages include

Can Blogger be a good place to post a webcomic?

February 11th, 2013 1 comment

I’m just having this crazy idea, I’m planning to post comic pages or strips on Blogger, since its generating revenue from Google Adsense, I might profit from this, hehe (me gloating like an alien Ferengi). Will this idea work?

Yeah with considerable effort and work. It will take awhile to get the word out about your site. It’s something that takes a lot of time if you want to make money at it. Read all you can about advertising your site. Then when you are done reading, read some more.

What’s the best paying alternative for google adsense?

January 22nd, 2013 2 comments

Do you know any alternative to google adsense that really pays and pays handsomely? Can you say that from personal experience?
There’s BidVertiser,Infolinks,Chitika….?

There is no really great alternative to Google AdSense because it has more advertisers than any other ad network. However, I found these are the best alternatives:

a.) Clicksor
b.) Infolinks
c.) Chitika

I used all these services above but I made more money with AdSense than with all these services. I have pretty bad experience with Bidvertiser, AdBrite and all other ad networks.

Is youtube monetisation completely different to google adsense?

January 14th, 2013 3 comments

I have just monetised some videos (this means I get money when adverts are displayed and clicked on via my videos). Is this completely separate to google adsense or is it the same thing?

It’s linked to Adsense. That’s where you can see your earnings.

Google adsense gives me money for no reason?

January 10th, 2013 1 comment

I logged on to my adsense account and I had about 50,000 page views and about $50 earnings today. I know this is not possible. I average about 1,000 views and day and maybe $3-$4. Im not complaining but just curious whats up?

Check you stats very carefully. It could be that your site is being "click bombed". If you think you are being click bombed you should remove your site from the "allowed sites " immediately. It will stop you getting any more money but it will protect the advertisers which is what AdSense want you to do. After that go onto the AdSense forum and ask what you should do next.

If you aren’t being click bombed but just having a good day…. well done!

What’s a reasonable earnings goal for AdSense?

January 4th, 2013 4 comments

I want to create a page on googlepages and sign up with adsense. Of course the number of hits varies hugely, but what’s a reasonable number for a semi-decent site. Also, do people actually make money on this, or are the people making good money just a minority, with most people getting about 5 cents a month? Are there any catches to Google Adsense. Is there a better way to make a webpage for free than with googlepages? Thanks.

There are many more publishers earning less than $100 a month for a variety of reasons — lack of traffic, wrong content for Adsense, wrong visitor type for Adsense, poor implementation of ads.

One thing about Adsense that many do not understand is that Adsense works — IF AND ONLY IF you have the right site for Adsense. For the right website, Adsense can give you $10,000 a month or more very easily. But if not, you’ll struggle to earn only pennies a month.

There’s no "reasonable" or right amount of traffic. A site can only get 100,000 pageviews per month and earn $15,000 while another site getting 1 million a month earns only $500.

While traffic is important, traffic is not the most important determinant with Adsense. The key is whether your site is the end destination of the visitors and they’re finding all the information they need and want in your site. Think of a forum or a news site or gossip site — all of these will attract visitors whose main objective is to chat, read news or read gossip. They’re not thinking of anything else when going to your site except to go to your site. These types of sites get low CPM, low CTR and consequently, low revenues

Compare that to a product review site, which provides reviews of a particular product (say camera). Visitors of these sites come because they are in the market for buying a camera, but before they do so they’d like to compare makes and models. The audiences this type of site gets are going to be responsive to the ads shown, which if the targeting is right, will be vendors of cameras. So product review sites do extremely well with Adsense

The key is content and finding out what type of audiences will go visit your site. Then build traffic. It will not be easy, but if you do well, then it feels great

How does online partnership work?

January 4th, 2013 1 comment

someone I know from Myspace offered me a partnership in her website. I’ll be handling certain aspects of it in return of a percentage of ad generated revenue(Google adsense).
my question is, is there an online agreement that binds each party to their duties?or is it completely built on trust?

It’s probably worth writing up some sort of contract, at least to solidify your understanding of your role.

You could be hardcore and ask for a copy of the adsense statements and perhaps access to the site log file, so you could measure the number of people reading your contributions.

Adsense money is often pocket change, I could get more excited if they were doing more profitable ad hosting or affiliate marketing.

If you have not heard it, the big boys who cross promote talk about Joint Ventures (JV)

Can I take legal action against someone who replaced my payment information with theirs on Google Adsense?

December 27th, 2012 1 comment

I let a friend of mine help me manage a Google AdSense account and didn’t realize they had switched my payment info for theirs. A few months later I checked and saw they had received over $200 in ad revenue from my website. Am I SOL since I let them use my account or is that considered stealing?

No i doubt you’ll get your money back, so sorry

Only because you gave someone else access to your account which is against Adsense terms =/

sorry and good luck in the future!
