What is adsense keyword and how to use it?

February 23rd, 2013 2 comments

I am getting only 0.02$ per click on adsense. I heard about adsense keyword. I searched on google and found lots of top paying keyword. But i don’t know how to use them.

First of all you need a niche blog. that is blog with a theme and random posts.
ex: suppose if you have a photography blog.
keywords like shutter speed, iso, lens etc can be used.
It can be used in Blog description like my blog on photography with information of iso, shutter speed
In the blog post title
In meta tags that is in the head section of html

<head>
<meta name="description" content="photography blogs with information on iso" />
<meta name="keywords" content="iso,shutter speed" />
<meta name="author" content="author name" />
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html;charset=UTF-8" />
</head>

hope this helps you

How potential is a cinema talent website?

December 25th, 2012 1 comment

I am planning to start talent search website for cinema field opportunity aspirants. I would like to know how potential is the website and what are the ways to generate money other than google adsense?

Search for the keyword related to cinema field. See how many people look for these words & decide the demand/competition.

Can you control who advertises using adsense on your site?

November 22nd, 2012 1 comment

I have a dog site and want to add google adsense. I do not want breeders and people selling puppies to have access to the ads. I want to avoid giving business to puppy mills.

Can I screen who gets access to my site, by keyword or something?

To an extent, yes.

Tells you how to add sites you want to filter out. I would imagine however it’s not fool proof.

How often do you need to update your website for google adsense? is it necessary?

November 18th, 2012 1 comment

On googles adsense page they say that you need to update your website often, but what if you have a site that does not need updating regularaly, and still achieves good trafic? will adsense still work properly?

Updating your website is not directly for Adsense — Adsense will work whether you update the site or not

What updating your site regularly can do is:

– to benefit your customers by seeing that your site remains fresh always
– to give reasons to customers to come back again to your site

And that means more traffic. More traffic means more potential for the Adsense ads to be seen (and clicked on). Therefor more income for you

Also check your competitors — the top 10 sites in Google for your main keyword — and see if they update their site regularly.

What is a interesting topic for Google Adsense?

July 17th, 2012 7 comments

I do not care about the keywords or anything like that. I want a topic which is interesting and attracts a large audience and is niche enough for Adsense. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Plaese do not give me a broad topic like electronics or something like that. I would prefer a more specific thing like for example instead of electronics something like cameras. Also please do not give me a topic where you have to review stuff or something like that, but instead a topic where I can give tips or solutions or tutorials.

The problem is what may be interesting for me may not be interesting for you, or may not be doable for you. Your ADDITIONAL DETAILS already says something a lot in terms of what you want to do

The key to Adsense topics is simple: Find topics where the people that it will attract are those looking for ways to spend money. That’s the topic where advertisers are really going to compete and bid high prices for keywords

That’s why product review websites do very well, because a person reading a camera product review is most likely thinking of buying a camera.

Same with travel information sites, as people reading traveling to Belize are most likely interested in going to that place. Hence; there’s lots of competition from advertisers of hotels, airfare, luggages, travel booking and online agencies, etc.

What are you interested in? What do you know? Then search for that term in Google and look at the number of adverisers in the Sponsored Links section. If there are many advertisers, then that’s a great keyword

Google Adsense – What do you earn from it?

July 13th, 2012 6 comments

I have a site ranked top on google, the keyword is fairly popular, I get about 2500 unique hits a month and adsense earns from $1-$4 a day. Is that low or high? Would be interesting to hear what people earn from it.
WEll, it’s actually 3rd place on google. When I say low or high I mean relative to the amount of views. And the keyword is related to radio controlled models.

$1-4 dollars a day is very low — though there are many publishers and bloggers who only earn this amount every day.

But I know of sites that earn $100 each and every single day by 6 am — and they make 5 figures a month from Adsense.

So if you compare your earnings to the high earners, yours is too low.

But continue to create more content, build more traffic. If you reach 2500 uniques a day, then your income will considerably improve. You’re not earning much right now because your traffic is still too small

Highest paying adsense keywords?

June 9th, 2012 5 comments

Hi. What are some of the highest paying keywords in google adsense? Has anyone made more than $10 per click using these keywords? Do they really work?

Google is smart enough to realize that some people will try to look for the highest paying Adsense keywords — and made sure that people who do will not fully benefit from it.

There was a time when everyone wanted to do a website on "Mesothelioma" when it was reported that advertisers were paying $100+ per click for this keyword. Unfortunately for Adsense publishers chasing this holy grail, all they got was a few cents per click — definitely NOT the $100 per click they were expecting

Google has this thing called SMARTPRICING which basically discounts the value of clicks on your site. No one knows how this actually works. But it can affect the pricing of the ads on your site. If the advertiser paid for $0.50/click – but your site is smartpriced – then the cost may be discounted lower (e.g. $0.25). So you may try to develop a site based on high paying keywords but if smartpricing gets to you, then you may not get as much per click as what you are expecting from your keywords.

Here is Google’s explanation of smart pricing https://adwords.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=9562&query=smart+pricing&topic=0&type=f

—————————-
Google’s smart pricing feature automatically adjusts the cost of a keyword-targeted content click based on its effectiveness compared to a search click. So if our data shows that a click from a content page is less likely to turn into actionable business results — such as online sales, registrations, phone calls, or newsletter signups — we reduce the price you pay for that click.
—————————-

So chasing after these so called high paying Adsense keywords is often a futile and useless effort if Google deems your site to be nothing but an attempt to chase after these keywords.
