I had once created a blog and it said advertise with adsense. But I don’t understand.

I’ve had 3 youtube accounts that were rejected by google adsense. Even though I’ve read some of the guidelines & tried to follow them to the best of my ability I still got rejected. Can watching your own video even once when signed in while ads are running be a bad thing? I understand that you can monetize your videos on youtube but then why would you create a google adsense account? I recently received an email from youtube saying that my account may be eligible to receive revenue from my vids. It would be through the google adsense program. I am very new to this and was wondering if i could get more info from people who actually do it.:)

I have heard that for someone to start Google AdSense, the person needs to sign up and then get approved for the program.

But how is it exactly? Is it hard to get accepted to the Google AdSense program? And how much time does it take to get approved?

First of all you need a website or blog.
Then go to Google Adsense and apply.
It’s quite simple and free.
They will check your site and if suitable will approve you within 3 days.
If approved you will be given a publisher ID.
Select the size, style, color etc of the ads you want, input your publisher ID then copy and paste the html code onto your website.
If you are using a blog with Google Blogger, there is an easy in-house way of signing up for and adding Adsense.
The ads will automatically be targeted towards your website or blogs keywords/content.
