How did I make a dollar fifty on adsense?

February 23rd, 2013 1 comment

I dont quite understand how adsense works. Basically i just put adsense on my blog today and I checked today my stats this evening and found I made a $1.50 and i had 330 page views and zero clicks. How did I make that much? Its an estimate btw.

Advertisers can choose to either pay for clicks PPC or by impressions CPM (1000 impressions have a similar price to 1 click) I believe adsense passes on your earning cut in either case, so perhaps that $1.50 is for impressions.

You will see odd stats, sometimes clicks vanish, perhaps after beings suspected of being faked. With luck it looks like you may be paid in 2 or 3 months at that rate.

How can i make money from my website without using chikita or google adsense?

Is it possible to privatley sell website space becuase my blogs getting 1000+ views a day at times?

Yes. Create a Advertise page and a form and see if advertisers are interested in advertising on your blog. There are many alternatives to adsense. You can also install a open source software called OpenX that will allow you to privately sell ad space to advertisers. If you are not happy with Adsense consider other alternatives like AdBrite, Kontera, InfoLinks, etc.

Selling ad space on your own is very difficult, so consider using a hybrid model where you compensate for empty inventory with adsense or other ad networks. Payment terms can vary from network to network and read their payment terms before signing up if cash flow is of major concern.

How to make account of YAHOO Adsense & how to start work with YAHOO Adsense, pls tell me all procedure & link. I shall really thankful to all of you..

First off, Adsense is a product of GOOGLE — and not Yahoo. Yahoo used to have its own contextual advertising network called Yahoo Publishers Network, but it closed a few years ago because it failed to attract enough advertisers, poor implementation and just no way to catch up to google

The Adsense website has a lot of information on how the program works and how you can earn money from it. Important pages include

What’s the best paying alternative for google adsense?

January 22nd, 2013 2 comments

Do you know any alternative to google adsense that really pays and pays handsomely? Can you say that from personal experience?
There’s BidVertiser,Infolinks,Chitika….?

There is no really great alternative to Google AdSense because it has more advertisers than any other ad network. However, I found these are the best alternatives:

a.) Clicksor
b.) Infolinks
c.) Chitika

I used all these services above but I made more money with AdSense than with all these services. I have pretty bad experience with Bidvertiser, AdBrite and all other ad networks.

How do you get people to click on your google adsense advertisements?

January 22nd, 2013 6 comments

Any good experiece from other bloggers would be nice. Also any other ways to generate revenue.

Hiya Doc,

I am afraid that the previous answers could not have been terribly helpful for you so I will try to answer your question as best as I can without quoting directly from the adsense site.

If you create a page or website and place Google adsense ads on them then the ads that appear on your website based a a number of factors however the main factor being your page content.

Lets assume that you are wrote a chapter on new diet medicines and assuming that there are plenty of companies advertising on content network (sites like yours and mine) for new diet medicines then these ads should appear on your web page (Another page on another topic would attract different ads).

If you find that relevant ads are being shown on the page in question then you have passed the first hurdle as its important that the ads are relevant. There is a good change that a visitor to that page looking for information on new diet medicine and sees some ad for a new product will end up clicking on the ad.

If you however write about a topic which has few to no advertisers for the keywords in question and you end up getting ads that are only slightly relevant then changes are that you end up getting few clicks.

The placement of the ads on the page is off course also important and Google has released a heat map which shows which ad placements generally give the best click through ratios. You can see that map at the following link: https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=17954&topic=8437

Generally ads that are above the fold, i.e the client doesnt have to scrowl down to view the ads, have better CTR. Dont forget to use the adlinks as well as they can bring in many clicks as they do with my sites.

About the size of the ad format and the colors there is not right or wrong answer. Some webmasters see best results when the ads are blended into the content so that they do not appear as ads right away while other website owners see better results with a ad in contrasting colors.

The one thing that most adsense forum users learn is that each site is different so you should experiment with different ad formats and colors and use the channel system to check which ads are being clicked on so that you can see what your ideal ad placement and color scheme is.

I hope that my reply was of help to you and I wish you all the best with your site and adsense.

Does Google Adsense display more relevant ads over time?

January 14th, 2013 2 comments

I launched my site a month ago, and in that time, I noticed the first two weeks of Adsense showed very irrelevant, general ads. In the past two weeks, the ads (especially the image ads) have become much more relevant. Because of this, click-through rate has significantly increased.

Does this just take time for Adsense to settle in with the site’s content or did the right advertisers just decide to start ad campaigns in the past two weeks?

Yes 100%, First of all excellent question you have asked.
Google Bot crawl your website every 22 days more and more crawling you can get more infact most relevant ads display on your site.
My Tips
If you use Google Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics simultaneously you will get relevant immediately within few hours time and also your website in top of the search engine results. If you need more information you can get here

Google adsense gives me money for no reason?

January 10th, 2013 1 comment

I logged on to my adsense account and I had about 50,000 page views and about $50 earnings today. I know this is not possible. I average about 1,000 views and day and maybe $3-$4. Im not complaining but just curious whats up?

Check you stats very carefully. It could be that your site is being "click bombed". If you think you are being click bombed you should remove your site from the "allowed sites " immediately. It will stop you getting any more money but it will protect the advertisers which is what AdSense want you to do. After that go onto the AdSense forum and ask what you should do next.

If you aren’t being click bombed but just having a good day…. well done!

Make money from my website without Google Adsense?

January 6th, 2013 1 comment

What is the best way to make money from my website without signing up for Google Adsense? I get a good amount of traffic to my website and was wondering how to turn this into monthly revenue. Thanks!

There is really only a few distinct ways to make money in life. One is by providing a service. Two is by selling a product. And 3 is by advertising. Since you already have traffic coming to your website and you are looking for a way to monetize this into monthly revenue, I would suggest selling advertising space on your website to advertisers.

Google Adsense does this by placing Text Link ads on your website and paying you for clicks. Another way to accomplish this without having to use Google is by selling Text Link space on your site for other webmasters. A fantastic tool that automates this process is called TextAds. It’s a text link rotator script that you can download at http://www.SellTextLinkAds.com – Not only is this script fully customizable making it easy to seamlessly integrate into your existing site, but it allows advertisers to signup and create their own text link campaigns. TextAds manages all of your accounts, ad campaigns and gives you complete control over your advertising on your website.

Also, TextAds uses PayPal to accept payments for advertising space instantly giving you the ability to earn a monthly income without having to constantly update your links. What makes the TextAds link rotator script much more efficient than Google Adsense is you get 100 percent of your profits instead of getting paid pennies for clicks by Google. I would recommend any webmaster or blogger looking for a better way to earn money from text links on your site to check out http://www.SellTextLinkAds.com

Those who have blogs that have alot of traffic how did you get so much traffic to reach your blog?

December 27th, 2012 3 comments

And not only pageviews but how do you get more clicks on your ads on your blog? Because getting clicks seems to be the factor that makes money on google adsense.

I’ve been trying to figure that out for years… I’ve come to the conclusion that the type of traffic that actually clicks on Ads is the same type of traffic that comes from google and is looking for something that you can’t provide them with. Generally, if the ads are visible and they have a better alternative to the article they found, a visitor will decide to check out the advertisers website. If you want to make some serious money with Google Adsense you are going to need to learn about search engine optimization so you can position your website and your articles at the top of the rankings. If you can get the top listing for a highly searched term you will be able to make alot of money… So much money in fact that you may even be able to quit your day job. If you want to learn more about search engine optimization and what you should be doing to make money with Google Adsense. Check out the article I wrote below.. It should get you started… Man I gotta be one of the finalists for top answer right?? lol

How can I put the google adsense ads on my website?

December 25th, 2012 2 comments

I have the web page now I just need to know if I’m gettin paid and if there ads are on there or how I can add them, and is there others I can add in addition with google?

AdSense can be a great way to earn a good income. The poster above commented that most large sites don’t use AdSense so don’t use it. That is garbage advice if you ask me. The reason is, these large companies have their own ad network. You probably don’t have the ability or the resources of getting advertisers for your site on your own, right? Exactly. That is why AdSense makes it so easy. Check out the article below for signup instructions and some great tips.
