Hi. I am under 18 and I currently make money with Google Adsense. I put my ssn and bank information on google adsense (In order to get payed) and I make around $150 / month. Do I have to pay taxes if so how do I pay the taxes. Do they just take a % of my money from my payment and consider it as taxes?

I don’t get payed by check, I get payed by direct deposit. So again, do I have to pay taxes and if so, how do I?

*Do they take a % of my payment and consider it as taxes?*
I LIVE IN CALIFORNIA (IF THIS HELPS)

I see you need to pay tax for adsense earning. You have to do is to read AdSense policies carefully cause Google always updates their policies. Adsense is an easy and fast way to earn from online.

You may have to pay taxes on your AdSense earnings. The exact regulations vary by entity. It is your responsibility to understand and adhere to the appropriate tax rules, and Google is unable to provide you with tax advice.

Money you make through AdSense is considered taxable income. The amount you pay depends on your household income. If you’re still filing as a dependent of your parents, it’s likely based on their tax rates. Talk with your parents. And consult with a tax expert- they’re the only ones who can figure out exactly how much you owe.

If you are under 18, your contract is invalid. When Google come to do the taxes, you will probably lose your account. You had to sign something saying that you were over 18 when you joined, so you’ve technically committed perjury: they could theoretically ask you for all your earnings back again.

As for your question, it depends on the laws in your state/country, and whether or not you’re over the tax threshold in general.
