Can a minor have their parents sign for google adsense and recieve payments through their parents legally?
I was invited to be apart of google adsense through youtube the other day, and i wanted to be sure.
It says you have to be 18 to accept payment from google adsense, but is it illegal if your parent accepts the payment in their name and gives you the money they receive off of the revenue on your videos?
OK firstly, yes its legal and its how AdSense recommend you do it however…
it’s not just a matter of putting your parents name as payee on your AdSense Account. The WHOLE AdSense account needs to be in your parents name. So follow the link which YoouTube gave you, when it asks if you already have an AdSense account, hand the computer over to your parent to either put in their existing AdSense details if they have one or choose to open an AdSense account.
Remember your parents will be responsible for the tax and you should expect to hand over the correct amount from each cheque.

I would simply say yes…a minor have to use adsense account on their parents name 🙂
