In order to find out the Max CPC and Avg CPC for Google Adsense, you’d have to login to your Google Adwords account. Then, set up a sample ad campaign (just don’t run it) just to find out by trial & error what keywords are high-paying. The Max CPC is the max cost per click the advertiser is willing to pay but eventually ends up paying significantly less most of the time. Is the Avg CPC about the cost the advertiser does actually pay to Google (publisher of AdSense gets a percentage of this.)?

Also, I have supposedly found some high paying keywords from list and tried to type them into Adwords, but the Max & Avg CPC are significantly lower. What’s going on? Are these Max & Avg CPC that Google displays even closely accurate?

Am I not doing this correctly to find out the Max & Avg CPC of certain keywords? If not, please explain properly how to do it. Thank you in advance. I appreciate your help very much.

No one knows how this actually works. But it can affect the pricing of the ads on your site. If the advertiser paid for $0.50/click – but your site is smartpriced – then the cost may be discounted lower (e.g. $0.25). So you may try to develop a site based on high paying keywords but if smartpricing gets to you, then you may not get as much per click as what you are expecting from your keywords.

I don’t think it’s possible to make 10000usd per day with Adsense. It’s pretty much near impossible to make a such amount in a year, if you don’t have multiple sites or blogs.

With 100-150 visitors get you most likely about 15-20dollars/month. You could add other ad networks to your website/blog to increase your income. AdSense, Amazon, iHerb or Tradedoubler (not available in the US, I think)

Just make sure you read the terms and conditions before applying.

Okay so recently I made about 50 dollars from Google AdSense and it took me a while so I really want to get my money. But the only problem is is that I am underage and I don’t know what to put for my tax information. It asks for my social security number which I can get, it’s just that will they know I am underage and not give me my money if they see my social security number? Thanks!

I would just ask you parents for their information and put that in instead.

Blogs can have ad-sense ads published on them. Create a free blog at blogspot.com and post your articles on it. Once you had about 20+ good unique and quality articles, apply for ad-sense account. If it gets approved easily then put your ads on that blog. Otherwise improve your blog more to get approved your account. In this article I will help you understand how AdSense works and give you some important information and some secrets that you probably haven’t got from Google.  I assume that you have some basic understanding about AdSense but you find it difficult to make money with it.

This means that you have a webpage and you have your own AdSense account with Google.  Even the gurus admit that the hard part is making really good money with AdSense constantly, I will give you some tips about how placing your ads and some insights you might find very useful.

So trying to look at AdSense in another perspective, we could say that Google wants a part of your traffic.  Traffic comes to your site and you have Google AdSense ads on your site and then Google will pay you when people click on those ads. Okay fair enough, what you need now is a good content website, because if you don’t have good content people are going to run away. They’re not going to stay on your page and they are definitely not going to click on your ads, but if you have good content people we stay and they would probably subscribe to your RSS feed (if you have one), and they would come back, so you have to make an interesting page.

When you add some AdSense ads on your page you probably feel that you don’t have any control over which ads are running.  Also the ads change, they are rotated and you don’t even know how much each click is worth.  Many people think that once you put your ads on your page, there is nothing more you can do, you can only wait and watch…Luckily nothing is further from the truth.  In fact Google gives you a great deal of control over your ads so that you can blend them in your page and get a higher click through rate.

Maybe you have a page and maybe you have AdSense ads on your page but you don’t get any clicks.  You might be earning a couple bucks per day and at this point you understand that something has to be done.  Have you experimented in this case with Google ads testing various designs and testing different colors to see what happens?  One very important thing is to check your stats constantly; because that is the way you learn to do the right things that actually work.

So what is it that you can do to make your AdSense campaigns really pay off?

First of all you have to work hard and you have to try different strategies. You have to check your stats and you need to have a good site with good content.  Also you need to have your site found in Google, which means free traffic.  Free traffic is the best traffic and you get it only true a properly designed optimized webpage.  Your webpage has also to be named correctly and this might be difficult today while all the best domains are already taken.  It’s a very good idea to have your page named after your niche. If you find it hard to find a good name for your site, there are companies that buy domain names and sell them for a profit.  So here you have to make a decision is it worth paying for a good name and does it bring me the extra traffic that I need.

Find also a good host and make sure your site doesn’t go down periodically, because then you would just lose money.  You don’t want to have a problem with the server.  After this you need a nice good looking webpage, if you are not a web designer yourself you can get great templates these days from the Internet very cheaply.  You can even get some AdSense ready page designs which are optimized and found to work.  After you have your page, you need to set up your content, you have to bear in mind that the ads that will appear on your site depend on the content of your pages and this is the way AdSense works.  So if you have a page about weight loss and all the content is about weight loss your ads are going to be about weight loss. 

Now you want to do some research to find out which AdSense keywords pay the best.  There are AdSense keywords that are worth more than $70 per click and if you can generate some traffic to your page and get people to click only a few times a day, you will make some serious money very soon.  This is the most important thing to keep in mind when choosing your niche if you want to earn money through AdSense only.
